Microsoft has created a brand new software subsection in the Windows Store in order to promote the best apps for NFL fans that already made the move to Windows 8.1.

Simply called “The Big Game,” the new software category was created to “keep up with all the NFL postseason action and the latest football news with these great apps,” as the description published in the store reads.

Among the apps included in this section, it’s worth mentioning ESPN, Yahoo Sports, NFL Mobile, NFL Game Rewind, CBS Sports, and Sports Republic, all of them offered with a freeware license.

Keep in mind that this software section is placed in the spotlight category of the Windows Store and it shall remain there only for a limited period of time, as Microsoft launches similar app highlights on a regular basis.
