Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro will go on sale on February 9, but those who wish to give it a spin before it goes live can do so by paying a visit to the closest Microsoft Store.

The Redmond-based technology giant has started sending out invites to users to test drive the Surface Pro, as the device is now showcased not only at Microsoft Stores, but also at Best Buy and Staples.

“You’ll love the new Surface Pro. Come in-store to preview the new Surface before its release on 2.09.13 and experience the productivity of a laptop with the portability of a tablet,” the email reads, according to Paul Thurrott.

The tablet will be available in two different versions, with pricing to start at $899 (€666) for the 64 GB version. The top-of-the-range model will have a price tag of $999 (€740) and will offer 128 GB of storage space.
