14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just announced the release of a new service created together with Vyclone, a social video editing start-up whose mobile service is already enjoying a terrific success.
Basically, the two companies have created a new web-based video editing service that allows users to quickly edit a specific clip from Internet Explorer 10. Thanks to the touch support of Microsoft’s latest browser, users can do the same thing on a Windows RT tablet by simply tapping on the provided options.
In addition, the new Vyclone service is focused on collaboration options, giving several consumers the option to work on a specific video at the same time.
“The process is simple—once video is recorded from an individual’s phone, it can be shared to the cloud, where it’s available to everyone else who was at that event. (Users can also make video footage private as well.) Here’s where it gets really fun—once the video is uploaded, users can remix their content, using all of the footage uploaded by other users at the concert,” the IE team explained.
