The number of apps available on Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system is constantly growing bigger, but the company’s very own titles continue to record a terrific success.

Microsoft has just introduced the so-called “Monsters Love Candy” puzzle game for Windows 8, making it available for free on all platforms running the recently released OS.

The game comes with more than 70 levels and 5 worlds, but also with Xbox Live support to send challenges to your friends and experience a truly unique asynchronous multiplayer gameplay.

“Swipe and match colorful candy to feed the cutest monsters on Windows 8 in the sweetest puzzle game of the year! Find, feed, and adopt more than 170 unique monsters and uncover their powers!” the app description reads.
