Microsoft has recently announced that the June 2014 feature update for embedded systems is available for OEMs through the dedicated MyOEM platform, bringing a number of updates for Internet Explorer, XML Core Services, and the Graphics Components.

The update is offered to devices running Windows Embedded Standard 7, POSReady7, Windows Embedded 8 Standard and Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry, and includes the following changes:

2957689 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 2957509 Vulnerability in TCP Protocol Could Allow Denial of Service 2957503 Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Graphics Component Could Allow Remote Code Execution 2939576 Vulnerabilities in Microsoft XML Core Services Could Allow Information Disclosure

These improvements however are not available for consumers or companies, but only for OEMs and Microsoft employees running one or multiple of the aforementioned platforms.

The MyOEM service is based on a restricted-access portal for OEMs holding a valid license agreement with Microsoft or with a Microsoft Authorized Embedded Distributor and for internal OEM employees. The updates available here are only aimed at embedded devices.

Of course, all these improvements are available free of charge for registered partners, so everyone can download them by logging into their MyOEM accounts with the username and password generated by Microsoft after signing the licensing agreement.
