The company continues its efforts to promote the email platform

Outlook.com has become Microsoft’s number one email platform after Hotmail’s retirement, so the tech giant uses every single occasion to bring some of its features in the spotlight.

This time, Microsoft published an Outlook.com video ad to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Discovery Channel’s MythBusters, as a new season will premiere May 1.

“To celebrate the MythBusters’ 10th season premiering May 1, check out the build team -- Kari, Tory and Grant -- reminiscing about their experiences on the show through photos and videos shared with Outlook.com,” it is mentioned in the video description published on YouTube.

In the meantime, Microsoft also continues the Hotmail shutdown, as it promised to move all users to Outlook.com by summer. Even though many customers are actually very disappointed with Microsoft’s decision to retire Hotmail, Outlook.com is playing a much more important role for the company’s long-term strategy.
