The Redmond-based technology titan Microsoft has just rolled out the so-called “Surface Owner Feedback Program,” a dedicated program supposed to help the company find out about issues affecting its first tablet in history.

The survey prompts users for some private information, such as age, gender, email address and home address, but also for Surface details, including date of purchase and serial number.

In case you decide to submit a report to Microsoft, you are automatically entered a drawing to win $200 (€155) in accessories for the tablet.

“In approximately two weeks, we will be sending you an e-mail with an invitation to a survey to hear about your experiences with your Surface. The information you submit will be used solely to operate the Surface Feedback Program,” the official survey page reads.
