Microsoft is still evolving into a devices and services firm, and as part of its new strategy, the company releases new products on a regular basis. The latest service in its portfolio is called Bing Distill and is supposed to become a Yahoo Answers rival that helps you get answers to any questions you might have.

Just like Yahoo Answers, Bing Distill relies on the community power to bring you answers to your questions, so you simply post a question online and wait for others to answer.

According to Redmond itself, Microsoft employees will also use Bing Distill, so "many of the answers may have been written by company workers," which should make the service a bit more accurate because some information comes directly from the software giant itself.

Right now, Bing Distill is still in beta development stage, but you won't be able to give it a shot unless you receive an invite. The service can be accessed through the Bing homepage and requires a Microsoft account to post new questions and answers.

Surprisingly, Microsoft hasn't yet released an announcement on Bing Distill, despite the fact that the service is now available to users worldwide, so we've reached out to the company for more information on this new product. We will update the article when and if we get an answer.
