Microsoft has just announced that the second service pack for Office 2010 is now available for download for both 32- and 64-bit versions of the world’s number one productivity suite.
A beta version of the service pack was officially unveiled in April, but the final build released today comprises all updates rolled out by Microsoft for Office 2010 until May 2013, including some new unreleased ones.
According to the company, all these patches are supposed to improve the overall stability, performance, and security of Office 2010, so deploying the service pack should be a priority for everyone.
Microsoft Office 2010 is no longer available for purchase, as the Softies have decided to retire it after the 2013 version of the productivity suite was released. Extended support for Office 2010 will continue to be offered until November 2020.
