The preview version of Microsoft’s very own Office 2013 will expire today, so users who are still running it have no other option than to remove the software and go back to an older release.

While in Windows 8’s case consumers can purchase a product key and stick with the operating system, there’s no such option for Office 2013, as Microsoft is yet to debut the full version of the app.

According to the latest rumors on this, Office 2013 is very likely to be released sometime this month, but Microsoft still remains tight-lipped on the subject.

The company, however, confirmed a couple of months ago that Office 2013 would be launched in the first quarter of 2013, so the full version of the new productivity suite should be here by the end of March.
