Windows 8.1 Preview will soon make its official debut, so Microsoft expects many more people to be interested in its new operating system.

In order to make sure that everybody will be able to check out its latest products, including the aforementioned Windows 8 update, Microsoft has decided to embrace the “store within a store” concept and sign a deal with Best Buy and Future Shop.

As a result, Microsoft will open mini-stores in more than 500 Best Buys in the US and 100 Best Buy and Future Shop locations in Canada to sell Windows tablets and PCs, Windows Phones, Microsoft Office, Xbox, and more.

“The stores within Best Buy will range in size from 1,500 square feet to 2,200 square feet and will be the premier destination for consumers to see, try, compare and purchase a range of products and accessories,” Microsoft explained.
