Ever since Microsoft officially rolled out the Surface RT and the new Windows 8 operating system, the company tried to promote the two products with every single occasion, while also releasing an overwhelming amount of commercials.

It seems like the Surface with Windows 8 Pro could get its very own marketing blitz, as Microsoft has reportedly worked with Jon M. Chu, Hollywood director and creator for the Surface RT main commercial, for a new Surface Pro ad.

Panos Panay, the man in charge with the Surface division at Microsoft, hinted in a tweet that a Surface Pro ad could be released just before launch, Neowin.net writes.

“This was a lot of fun @jonmchu. May be should do it again,” he said. The Surface Pro is expected to be released before the end of January.

Microsoft invested nearly $1.5 billion (€1.2 billion) in its marketing efforts for Windows 8 and the Surface RT, so expect something big for the Pro tablet as well.
