Microsoft rolled out a new round of fixes addressing the limited Wi-Fi issue spotted on its Surface tablets, but even if many users confirmed that this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle had solved the problems, others are still experiencing connectivity glitches.

The tech giant is apparently well aware of the issue and, while no more information has been provided on the possible cause of the bug, it did confirm that some other fixes are expected in the coming months.

“Sorry to hear about your Surface experience issues with the WiFi adapter. Continued wireless updates are planned in coming months. Please keep checking Windows Update during the next Patch Tuesday cycle,” a Surface support team engineers wrote on Microsoft’s support forums.

At this point, both Surface RT and Pro users are experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues, so new patches for these two models are likely to be released in the coming months.
