Microsoft has recently released a new Outlook.com video, but this time the company isn’t trying to promote any of the features included in its email platform.

Instead, Redmond is actually celebrating Outlook.com’s first anniversary, as the email service today turned one, after being launched in final version one year ago today.

“It's been a year since Outlook.com came out of preview. We'd like to thank our customers for making it such a great year,” the video description states.

Outlook.com is now Microsoft’s key email platform, as the company decided to discontinue Hotmail last month and move all users to the new service.

Of course, Outlook.com is also Microsoft’s main weapon in the fight against Google, as the company continues its Scroogled campaign supposed to show users that the search giant is looking into their inboxes to deliver ads.
