Give your old Surface RT a completely new look in a very quick way

The Surface Pro will soon hit the shelves, but Microsoft is still struggling to make the RT a successful product.

The company has reportedly rolled out a customization program for the Surface RT, allowing tablet owners to change the look of their devices by applying a custom skin on both the front and the back.

According to WinBeta, a skin is sold for around $15 (€11) and is quickly applied by Microsoft’s staff. Made of vinyl, the skins can be removed up to five times without damaging the tablet.

It seems that not all Microsoft stores are selling the Surface skins, so it’s best to call the closest store to make sure they’re available.

We’ve contacted Microsoft for a word on this, and we’ll update the article as soon as we get an answer.
