Windows Live Movie Maker has received a new set of improvements today, as part of a major rollout that also included Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail.

The company hasn’t provided any other details on the new version, so nobody can tell for sure if the company has also introduced new features or not, so the build is most likely aimed at the overall performance.

Since Movie Maker is supposed to get along with all Windows versions currently on the market, Microsoft has probably tried to address some performance and stability issues on all of these operating systems, which means that the new app is expected to run a bit smoother now.

Of course, the app continues to rely on the same great feature package, including SkyDrive integration to easily share clips on Microsoft’s cloud-based storage service.
