Everyone agrees that Lumia phones comes with pretty awesome built-in ringtones, all created by Nokia and Microsoft, and new devices ship with new sounds that are designed only for specific countries.

The recently launched Lumia 535, which is actually the very first Windows Phone device launched with Microsoft branding on both the front and the back, is also one of the handsets coming with such ringtones, as Microsoft wants to give buyers in specific countries the chance to customize their phones with local sounds.

Microsoft detailed the so-called “Sounds of the World” project in a blog post on its Conversation website, explaining that it worked together with experts to create ringtones for certain countries, such as India, China, and South Africa.

While the story itself is captivating, there’s no doubt that many of you actually want to check out these ringtones and get them on your phones as fast as possible.

The full playlist containing all ringtones is available at the end of the article, but Microsoft doesn’t provide a quick way to download the ringtones, so you can only do this if you know where to look. Obviously, we can’t provide full instructions on how to do this, since Microsoft hasn’t released them for download, but a quick search on Google solves the mystery.

Most of these ringtones will also be available on future Microsoft Lumia devices, so if you plan to purchase such a phone in the near future, don’t forget to have a look in the ringtones library.
