An update that reached the store this morning comes with tools to shuffle all the music in your collection with just a single tap, while also allowing you to double-click to play any song in your collection or the store, just like you normally do on the desktop.
In addition, you can now play “the most popular songs from your favorite artists right on their details pages Discover great music,” according to the official release notes, and you can also choose “Explore” to quickly find the top songs for a specific genre.
The update also makes it possible to redeem Microsoft gift cards, so make sure you download Music for Windows 8.1 especially if you wish to manage your music collection from the Modern UI.
