Windows 8.1 will be launched in a just a few days, so Redmond wants to make sure that everyone is aware that it brings plenty of changes by releasing a few more ads.

This time, the company turned to Walking Dead, the TV series that’s already enjoying a terrific success in the United States and which has been used in the past to promote Windows 8 too.

As usual, Microsoft is using these TV ads to promote the touch capabilities of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, even though it claims that its new OS version brings improvements for both the Metro and the desktop working environments.

As for Windows 8.1, it’s set to debut on October 18 everywhere around the world, with Windows 8 adopters to be allowed to download it free from the Store, just like any other application.
