Microsoft has just released an update for the built-in Reader app available in Windows 8, with the new version now up for grabs from the Windows Store.

According to the release notes, the new version exposes printing via the App bar, but the update most likely brings several bug fixes and performance improvements as well.

As you probably know by now, the Reader app is being used to open PDF and XPS files in the Modern UI of your Windows 8 computer, while also providing dedicated options to fill forms, add notes, highlight content, share and print files.

The program is pre-installed on most Windows 8 versions, be they x64, x86 or ARM versions.
