It’s not a secret anymore that Microsoft is ready to spend millions of dollars to advertise Windows 8, but it seems like the Redmond-based technology company has finally arrived on British soil with its marketing efforts.

ConnectedDigitalWorld.com writes that Microsoft has set up a slide in the Bluewater shopping center in Kent as a means of promoting the new Windows 8. Microsoft describes the new operating system both fast and fun, just like this gigantic slide.

Every adult or kid who embarked on an adventure down the slide received a printed photo of themselves and a digital copy emailed on a mobile device.

Those who tweeted a picture with the slider were eligible for a special contest, with an HP tablet (why not a Surface?) as the grand prize.
