Windows 10’s launch is undoubtedly a crucial moment in Microsoft’s history, and the Redmond-based software giant does not afford to get it wrong for the second time.

After the Windows 8 failure, Microsoft wants to make Windows 10 the operating system that users want and love, and this video that the company presented during the BUILD 2015 developer conference is living proof that there are plenty of improvements waiting to debut on PCs and smartphones later this year.

With Windows 10, Microsoft isn’t only trying to target both phones and PCs in a more effective way but it also attempts to get closer to customers, so the new software is designed based on their suggestions and thoughts submitted through the Windows Insider program.

Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, said on several occasions - and it also reiterated it at BUILD 2015 - that Microsoft wants people to simply love Windows 10, and this is one of the reasons the new product is specifically built around the feedback they submitted.

Windows 10 is projected to see the light of day during the summer, most likely in June or July, whereas the phone version is still in its early days and could be pushed back to October. By the end of the year, however, everyone should be able to get a Windows 10 device up and running, no matter if we’re talking about PCs, tablets, or smartphones.
