Microsoft has recently announced that its Surface Pro tablet would go on sale in new European countries in the next couple of months, but the company once again refused to provide us with some updated sales figures on the device.

A previous report suggested that Microsoft had sold a total of 1.5 million Surface tablets, out of which nearly 400,000 were Pros. Still, the Redmond-based tech giant keeps everything secret, while only mentioning that “enthusiasm for Surface has been fantastic.”

“We love hearing the stories of people who are making it the one device they use to work and play. This is what Surface was designed to do – simplify your life while letting you do more! In fact, one of our biggest challenges has been keeping our 128GB Surface Pro in stock,” Brian Hall, general manager of the Surface project, said.

In other news, the Surface Pro will soon go on sale in several other European countries, including France, Germany, Spain, and the UK.
