The company has just revealed prices for its first tablet

Microsoft has just announced pricing details for the upcoming Surface tablet that will be released on October 25 alongside Windows 8.

The cheapest version is the 32 GB tablet without a Black Touch Cover which is going to cost $499 (€383), while the most expensive tablet comes with a price tag of $699 (€537) and offers 64 GB of storage plus the touch cover.

A third 32 GB version is also available and it also includes the Black Touch Cover for a final package price of $599 (€460).

All versions are already available for preorders, but the devices will only be shipped after the public debut on October 25.

Microsoft also sells two separate add-ons: the white Surface Touch Cover for $119 (€91.5) and the Surface Type Cover for $129 (€99).
