Microsoft will soon introduce the Surface with Windows 8 Pro in both Canada and the United States, but the company is planning to start selling the device in many more countries sometime in the future.

In addition to its own stores, Microsoft will also make the Surface Pro available at Best Buy and Staples, so the company is most likely working on new partnerships with retailers across the globe as we speak.

Panos Panay, the one in charge with the Surface division at Microsoft, confirmed that the Surface with Windows 8 will land in some new countries in the upcoming months, but refused to provide any other details.

“We’ll have more to share in the coming weeks with additional markets in the coming months,” he briefly said in a comment posted on Reddit.
