Britons have already been spoiled with free Wi-Fi Internet access in some select train stations, but most providers only offered limited connections, some of which automatically disconnected clients after 15 to 60 minutes.

According to Pocket-lint.com, Microsoft and The Cloud will soon offer free and unlimited Wi-Fi access to British users in rail train stations, as the Redmond-based technology giant is trying to advertise some of its products through the landing page.

The new agreement is aimed at stations operated by First Great Western, Greater Anglia and London Overground, with a one-month trial starting today and offering free Wi-Fi for a month.

As said, Microsoft will use the landing page to promote its newest products, including Office 365, Windows 8 and Surface tablets, while The Cloud will provide access to a number of services such as Sky News and Sky Sports.
