Microsoft says that it’s all just a matter of time until people really get used to the new interface, but technology experts claim that end-users will have a very tough job in discovering the new OS.

Jakob Nielsen, a user interface expert at the Nielsen Norman Group, told ComputerWorld that Windows 8 is much more useful on a tablet than on the traditional desktop computer.

What’s more, he said, Microsoft’s strategy of letting people get used to its new product isn’t good at all, as some of them will be very disappointed.

“I just think when it comes to the traditional customer base, the office computer user, they're essentially being thrown under the bus,” he said, emphasizing that all modifications available in Windows 8 may be a bit too much for the average Joe.
