Even though it was initially believed that Microsoft would keep all its new product launches for the BUILD developer conference in San Francisco, it seems like the tech giant is also trying to steal the show at Computex.
Digitimes reported that the Redmond-based tech giant is trying to use the event to reveal new features of its operating system, thus trying to generate buzz ahead of the public preview launch later this month.
Microsoft has already showcased the enterprise version of Windows 8.1 at TechEd, but if the report is true, more announcements are now in the pipeline before the BUILD event.
As far as the stable version of the Windows 8 update is concerned, Microsoft is reportedly planning to unveil it sometime later this year, most likely just in time for the holiday season.
