Microsoft is continuously looking to expand its retail network in the Unites States, so the company is opening new stores on a monthly basis.

In Portland, however, the company turned to rock band Weezer to promote a new store in Portland, while Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was signing autographs and playing on Kinect with customers at the new Pacific Place store in Seattle.

As you most likely know, Microsoft is trying to open new stores in the United States ahead of the debut of new products, including the Windows 8.1 update and the second-generation Surface tablet.

Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that Microsoft is also pondering an expansion on the Old Continent, with London very likely to be one of the first cities to get an official store.
