You can now customize the places to link to in the list

With Windows 10 build 10130, Microsoft is unlocking more customization settings for the Start menu as it gets closer to signing off the operating system and pushing it to RTM.

Just like in the previous builds, Start now has its very own section in the Settings menu, so if you go to Settings > Personalization > Start, you're going to find several new options that are now unlocked.

For example, starting with this build you can customize the locations that are shown on bottom left of Start where Microsoft added by default Power and All apps. This option was already available in build 10122, but it was locked, so 10130 finally gives users the power to configure it and add the places they access most often to the Start menu.

At the same time, you can enable that odd option to “occasionally show app and contest suggestions in the Start menu,” which we're pretty sure many would leave turned off (but note that it's turned on by default), store and display recently opened programs in Start, show the recently added apps group, enable the Start screen and store and display recently-opened items in Start and the taskbar.

Overall, there are no new features, but more are unlocked, so it's pretty clear that we're getting closer to the final version of Windows 10. Luckily, this should be here by the end of July, if rumors swirling around the web are true.
