Microsoft has recently released a new version of its popular Mahjong game, as it implemented a number of bug fixes and new features for adopters of its new operating system.

As we can see in the official release notes published in the Windows Store, the new build fixes an issue with Daily Challenge Leaderboards, while also addressing problems with some incorrect translations.

Microsoft has implemented several other bug fixes and optimizations, so Mahjong should run a bit faster regardless of your Windows 8 device, be it a desktop computer, a laptop or a tablet featuring Windows RT.

Just as expected, the game is offered with a freeware license and provides an addicting experience on touchscreen devices, so it’s recommended to install it on a touch-capable device such as Microsoft’s own Surface RT.
