Microsoft has just released a new version of the popular Rocket Riot 3D game for Windows 8 that can be played not only on a desktop computer, but also on tablets running Windows RT.

While the release notes only point to a new DLC, Rocket Riot 3D continues to offer users more than 100 single-player missions and over 200 characters.

Multiplayer challenges are also available, and so are 24 all-new Windows 8 exclusive levels and 20 power-ups.

Just like many other Microsoft games, it supports a touch gaming mode, mouse and keyboards, but also USB Xbox controllers.

The game isn’t available for free, but with a price tag of $2.99 (€2.25) for a full license.
