14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has announced updates for Yammer a couple of months ago, but the new versions have been released only today on all available platforms.
The Windows 8 version, which also offers Windows 8.1 compatibility, comes with new options that allow you to access and participate in Group Feeds, in addition to your Home Feed.
At the same time, new “notifications and live tile functionality will alert you to Yammer messages when you don’t have the app open,” according to the official release notes, while enhanced Snap View mode lets you run the app side by side with another Metro tool.
“You can now snap the Yammer app to the side of the screen so you can continue working in another application. True multitasking on mobile – finally!” the developing team said.
The app can be easily downloaded from Microsoft using a link provided via email, with support offered for both desktops and tablets.
