A new version of Music is now being delivered to some Windows 8.1 users

Microsoft has just rolled out a new version of the Music Metro app for Windows 8.1 that’s automatically delivered to computers running the new OS automatically via the integrated store.

Surprisingly, there are no release notes available right now and the update only shows up on a limited number of devices, so the new build is most likely supposed to address bugs and other issues reported by users in the previous builds.

Of course, Music can be installed on both desktops and tablets running Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, but it’s not yet clear whether all these devices are getting the update.

Overall, even though it’s just a minor update, all users should actually install it, so download Music for Windows 8.1 right now to see what it brings new on your device.
