Microsoft has just released a brand new version of the Music app available in Windows 8.1 RTM, thus preparing the program for the official launch of the operating system.

According to the release notes published in the Windows Store, the updated app provides access to some content without the need to sign in, while also bringing a search option right within the main screen.

At the same time, the updated build packs lots of bug fixes and UI enhancements, so all users are recommended to download it as soon as possible.

In case you’re already running Windows 8.1 RTM, the operating system automatically deploys the new version, while Windows 8 keeps asking users for permission to download and install it on both tablets and desktop computers.
