Microsoft continues its trade-in program aimed at Apple users, this time with a special offer for those owning iPhones and ready to make the switch to products developed by the Redmond-based company.

While Microsoft initially offered store credit for those ready to give up their iPads for a Surface tablet or a Windows Phone, the tech giant is now willing to take your iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 and give you a $200 (€150) voucher to purchase its own devices.

Forbes is reporting that only a few stores across the United States and Canada are running the trade-in program, but since Microsoft hasn’t yet announced the campaign, no list of the participating locations is available.

Similar offers are very likely to continue in the next few months, not only because Microsoft tries to take on its rivals with very appealing discounts, but also thanks to the fact that new Surface tablets are set to hit the market in less than 30 days, so the company clearly wants to make sure that they’ll sell like hot cakes.
