14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just rolled out a new video to showcase the capabilities of Windows 8.1 in the retail sector, as the new operating system is also available on embedded devices to provide a completely new experience.
The new clip claims that Windows is the future of retail and shows “how Windows devices are transforming Retail, enabling real-time access to customer data, operational details, POS systems and stock levels from anywhere in the store,” as Microsoft explains.
Windows 8.1, on the other hand, is about to get a major update on all platforms, as Microsoft is working to improve the overall experience offered to customers by adding a more user-friendly touch.
Windows 8.1 Update 1 will debut in April at BUILD and will be shipped as a free update via Windows Update to all consumers running Windows 8.1 right now.
