Sad news for most people working in Microsoft’s Redmond campus, as one of the Windows program managers is nowhere to be found and the local police is gearing up for an ample search in the neighboring area.

As GeekWire reports, Krishna Venkatesh, a Microsoft Windows program manager, went missing a few days ago somewhere near Seattle. His car was found by police officers at Deception Pass State Park, 80 miles north of Seattle, the source says, so local authorities are planning to start the search with help from friends and co-workers.

The 27-year-old Windows program manager was last seen on October 15 in Redmond. He lives in Capitol Hill in Seattle, so nobody knows what he was actually doing in Deception Pass State Park.

According to the same source, “there was no sign of anything unusual in the car,” which makes everything even more uncanny, especially because he didn’t leave any note or informed any of his friends about the unplanned visit to Deception Pass.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Venkatesh joined Microsoft in May 2008 as a product planning intern, but has since been promoted to the role of program manager with responsibilities in defining and driving product vision, UX design, and execution of world-class software.

Anyone who can provide information about Venkatesh’s disappearance can contact local police using the phone number in the attached photo.
