Bing’s search suggestions show that quite a lot of users are trying to remove Windows 8.1

If Windows 8.1 is not your cup of tea and you’re looking for instructions on how to remove the operating system, you’re in luck.

Just head over to Bing and simply write down “uninstall” and the search engine should provide you with pretty useful suggestions, not only for Windows 8.1, but also for Office 2013, Internet Explorer 11 and 10.

While these suggestions are a bit embarrassing for Microsoft, which owns both Bing and Windows 8.1, it’s also a sign that many people are actually searching for tutorials on how to remove the OS update or the company’s latest browsers.

Windows 8.1, on the other hand, is gaining ground in the OS world, with recent statistics revealing that together with Windows 8, it holds a market share of about 10 percent. At the same time, Internet Explorer 11 is also growing fast and is now on track to become the world’s number one browser in just a few months.
