Presented by Microsoft last month, the Surface 3 is now up for grabs from authorized resellers in the United States, so if you’re looking to get the new tablet, you have two options: you can either go to a Microsoft store or pay a visit to Best Buy or Staples to buy one.

The Surface 3 is the smaller brother of the Surface Pro 3 and comes with a 10.8-inch screen and support for the same digital pen that makes drawing and writing so easy.

There are only two options available, with 64 GB or 128 GB of storage space, with pricing starting at $499 (€380) for the former and $599 (€460) for the latter.

The Surface 3 runs the full version of Windows 8.1 Pro and will be fully upgradeable to Windows 10 when the new operating system becomes available, so you’ll be able to experience the new OS without any compromise. The tablet comes with 4 GB of RAM, which means that it fully copes with Windows 10’s system requirements.

In the meantime, word has it that Microsoft is working on the Surface Pro 4, a new high-end 2-in-1 that could launch as soon as this month to serve as a new replacement for the traditional laptop.

Specs aren’t yet available, but this would be the flagship device in Microsoft’s lineup, so expect it to be at least as powerful as the Surface Pro 3.
