It’s Patch Tuesday, so Microsoft is getting ready to ship a new round of updates to Windows computers across the world in order to fix the recently spotted vulnerabilities.

As the company announced last week, this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle would bring eight security updates, including one that’s supposed to fix a flaw in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

Four of the right updates are considered to be “critical” and concern Windows, .NET Framework, and Internet Explorer. A successful exploit would allow remote code execution, Microsoft said.

Microsoft’s hasn’t provided any specifics on these updates, as Redmond tries to keep its users on the safe side until the patches are actually delivered to them. The update rollout is expected to begin later today, so make sure you’re connected to the Internet to get them as soon as possible.
