Users will be allowed to monitor the recently-uploaded files

Microsoft is now working on a new feature for its SkyDrive.com service that would allow users to keep track of the recently-uploaded files.

LiveSide.net reports that the SkyDrive.com web service will get a recent activity feed that will be easily accessible via the “Recent” menu item in the left-side menu.

This would allow users to check out new files or photos added to the SkyDrive account, files or pictures shared by users, edit files in the SkyDrive account, and the documents you opened recently.

The “Recent docs” view, on the other hand, will continue to be offered to users, but it will also display the recently-launched documents exclusively.

Microsoft is yet to publicly comment on this new feature, so we should all take it with a pinch of salt until the Softies confirm it.
