The company is set to unveil the first Windows 8 update at the BUILD developer conference

Microsoft will officially unveil the new Windows 8.1 Preview in just a few hours, thus rolling out an eagerly-awaited makeover for the “confusing” Windows 8.

The event will kick off at 9:00 AM PT / 12 PM ET on June 26 and will include live demos of key improvements for Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, Windows Azure, Xbox, and Visual Studio.

Of course, the most important moment is the public unveiling of Windows 8.1 Preview that’s going to bring plenty of new things for Windows 8 users, including the utterly-popular Start button, plus some fresh tools and features.
