Microsoft will celebrate this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle tomorrow by releasing a total of nine bulletins supposed to address security flaws not only in Windows, but also in some other products across its product range.

Windows 7 and its in-house browser Internet Explorer will receive critical patches, as Microsoft has discovered a bug that would expose users’ data on unpatched systems.

All Internet Explorer versions are targeted by this new update, including the very old IE6 and the newly launched IE10 bundled into Windows 8 and Windows RT.

Windows XP and Windows Vista will also receive patches, while Windows 8 and Windows RT will skip the “critical” update frenzy this month.

All updates will be released in less than 24 hours, so make sure you keep your Windows Update feature turned on to automatically patch your system.
