Microsoft has recently rolled out details about this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle, revealing that it will launch a total of eight security bulletins supposed to fix vulnerabilities in its software.

Three of these updates are labeled as critical and are aimed at flaws found in Windows XP and Windows 8, with Internet Explorer once again to be fixed as part of the Patch Tuesday release.

At the same time, Microsoft is planning to repair glitches found in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010, and 2013, according to details published in the company’s Security Bulletin Advance Notification for August 2013.

The other five updates are only marked as important and address vulnerabilities in the Windows operating system. All but one will require users to restart their computers once the installation process comes to an end.
