Microsoft usually releases updates for its software on Patch Tuesday, but it seems like the company is ready to launch something that can’t wait any longer for the Windows platform.

The Redmond-based technology titan has revealed in a new post that Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows RT will all receive software updates on Tuesday.

While the company has provided only limited information on these updates, they are supposed to bring improved features and performance on all three aforementioned Windows contraptions, but also to resolve some issues in the operating systems.

As usual, all patches will be delivered via the integrated Windows Update feature, so customers won’t have to download and deploy them manually.

More details on these updates will be released on Tuesday morning, so we’ll keep you posted.
