Miranda IM has been updated to a new minor build that contains bug fixes designed to increase the stability of the application.

The current maintenance release is 0.10.5 and introduces a short number of modifications, most of them relating to the XMPP communications protocol.

Among the changes there is a repair for the GSSAPI (Generic Security Services Application Program Interface) authentication problem.

On the same note, Android users employing Gtalk were not shown the status indicating that they were running the instant messenger from a mobile device. Starting the current revision, this should no longer occur.

Another fix present in Miranda IM 0.10.5 refers to mirandaboot.ini file encoding.

Miranda IM is a multi-protocol messaging application. It is highly customizable as far as functionality, sounds icons or other type of content is concerned. You can check the list of changes here.
