Includes most of the features available in the beta

Mozilla launched the stable build for Firefox 20 for all desktop platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux).

Although many users expected to see the same release notes as in the case of the beta, the developer held back on one of the features, and that is informing the user that the search provider in the Awesome bar has been changed by third party software or from about:config and the offer to reset the modification.

The rest of the new features have been preserved, so Firefox 20 brings to the table improved private browsing and a new, integrated download experience. Also, it can automatically close plugins that hang for longer periods of time (45 seconds), without affecting the browser itself.

Furthermore, the developer added performance improvements as far as common browser tasks are concerned; this should be reflected in faster page loads and closing of the browser.
