A new preview version of Firefox 31 is up for grabs on supported platforms

Mozilla continues work on the next stable build of Firefox, so today the company rolled out a new preview version of the browser, giving users the chance to try out the upcoming feature lineup before the public debut.

Mozilla Firefox 31 beta 3 is available on all supported platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, and is mostly supposed to fix the issues that have been reported by users in beta 2.

Not much has changed since the previous release and no new features have been added, but it's still a good way to see what's coming in Firefox 31 before everyone else.

As far as Windows is concerned, Firefox 31 beta 3 supports them all, including the old Windows XP, which no longer gets updates and security fixes from Microsoft. Of course, this new beta sticks to the UI first implemented in Firefox 29, so in case you hoped to see Australis go, that's not going to happen in this new build.

Overall, although a preview version, Firefox 31 beta 3 seems to be working really fine, as we're already running it right now on our testing systems and no major bugs have been spotted. Use the download links below to get the version that's working on your computer.
