NVIDIA has launched a fresh version for their PhysX System Software. The current build number is 9.13.0604 and it incorporates a fix specifically addressing a problem that affected Metro Last Light benchmark.

The bug would cause Metro Last Light benchmark to crash intermittently. However, the developer has also announced that this revision does away with several issues that affected the installer.

PhysX System Software is a module specially created to allow certain games take advantage of PhysX acceleration. It works with certain GeForce cards (8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600-series) and requires 256MB of dedicated graphics memory.

The freshly launched revision includes the latest PhysX runtime builds in order to support all released PhysX content. It supports all versions of Windows starting XP and ending with 8.1.
